Contact bridging dampers for back-up on automated highways, Vol.1, No.2, p.167-175
The latest issue of IET Intelligent Transport Systems (Vol.1, No.2, June 2007) is a result of the successful collaboration between the journal and the ITS World Congress Association – resulting in 16 enhanced and expanded papers originally submitted to the 13th ITS World Congress, held in London in 2006.
Following this success, IET Intelligent Transport Systems is pleased to be supporting the 6th European Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS in Europe 2007) to be held in Aalborg, Denmark, 18-20 June, 2007. IET ITS will publish a similar Special Issue focussing on the research submitted to the 6th European Congress.
The journal will be represented at both the 6th European Congress in Aalborg (please visit us at Stand No: G8) and at the 14th ITS World Congress in Beijing (Stand No: 11033). Please visit us at either event for a free copy of the 13th World Congress Special Issue, and further information on submitting an enhanced version of your conference paper to the ITS’07 Special Issue.

Journal name change for 2007
IET Intelligent Transport Systems was previously published as IEE Proceedings Intelligent Transport Systems. Following the merger on March 31st 2006 between the IEE (Institution of Electrical Engineers) and the IIE (The Institution of Incorporated Engineers) to form the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the IEE Proceedings suite of journals have changed name for 2007 to reflect the fact that they are now published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology. IET Intelligent Transport Systems starts from Volume 1, Issue 1 from March 2007 onwards. All other benefits of publishing in the journal, including our worldwide readership and database coverage, remain unchanged.
Online subscribers to IET Intelligent Transport Systems can also access all backfile issues of IEE Proceedings Intelligent Transport Systems that were published during 2006 as part of their current online subscription.
