Scope

Published online from 1990-2007, this magazine addressed the practice of computing software and information systems and their applications, together with control systems, automation and robotics, through articles on methods, techniques and processes used in industrial, commercial and business applications. The magazine also provided essential information to professional engineers of all disciplines engaged in the application of computer technology.

Engineering & Technology

Content previously published in Computing and Control Engineering now appears in Engineering & Technology magazine. From January 2008, Engineering & Technology increased its publication frequency to 21 issues a year from 12 issues a year. Not only has the magazine become more frequent but it also includes coverage from the industry sectors previously covered by the other IET magazines.

The IET Digital Library will continue to host backfile issues of all ceased magazine titles. Subscribers to the IET Digital Library Complete Publications Package or the online version of Engineering & Technology (via the IET Digital Library) will also be able to get full access to all magazine content from 1994 onwards. This magazine changed its title to 'Control & Automation' from Volume 18, No. 3, June 2007 through to Volume 18, No.6, December 2007.
